Lic Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2024

The main objective of this scheme is to provide scholarships through this scheme of LIC to students from economically weaker families who are good in studies i.e. meritorious students so that they can get higher education and employment opportunities. This scheme is started to encourage children from poor families towards education.

How to get scholarship?

After applying in this scheme, students are given a scholarship of ₹40000. To get this scholarship, the student should keep the following things in mind.

  • Under this scholarship scheme of LIC, students will be given an amount of ₹ 20000 per year. This amount will be given for two years.
  • This amount will be transferred to the student’s bank account through NEFT.
  • If a student is selected in this scheme, it is mandatory to have bank account in his name and IFSC code along with canceled cheque.
  • The bank account in which this amount will be given should be current.

Special Scholarship for Girls

In the special scholarship for girls, selected girls who are eligible for higher education after class 10 will be awarded Rs. 15,000 will be awarded. Under this scheme, girls pursuing intermediate/10+2 pattern, vocational or diploma courses through government recognized colleges and ITIs will be given in three installments (Rs 4,500, Rs 4,500 and Rs 6,000).
